Terms of sale

These terms cover every purchase from buttsandguts.shop (the "Store"), run by Butts And Guts ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them.

Orders and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars for US shoppers and Canadian dollars for Canadian shoppers. Shipping and any sales tax, GST or HST are calculated before you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. We may cancel and refund any order for any reason, including pricing errors or suspected fraud.

All sales are final

Every product is printed on demand just for you. We do not accept returns or exchanges, and we do not refund for size, color or change of mind. If an item arrives damaged, defective or misprinted, contact us within 30 days of delivery with a photo and we'll arrange a replacement.

Shipping

We ship to the United States and Canada. Delivery estimates are estimates, not promises. Once a package is handed to the carrier, we aren't responsible for carrier delays. If a package is lost in transit, contact us and we'll work with our print partner to sort it out. Orders sent to an incorrect address provided by the customer are not eligible for a free reshipment.

Custom art terms

These apply whenever you upload an image, photo or design ("Your Art") for a custom product.

1. You own it or have permission. You confirm you created Your Art or have written permission from whoever owns it to print and sell it on merchandise. That includes photos of other people: you confirm every identifiable person in Your Art (or their parent or guardian) has agreed to it.
2. No infringing content. Your Art may not include anything owned by someone else without permission, including sports team or league marks, brand logos, cartoon or movie characters, celebrity likenesses, song lyrics, or other people's artwork.
3. No prohibited content. We will not print content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, depicts or involves minors in any inappropriate way, promotes violence or illegal activity, exposes someone's private information, or is otherwise unlawful. Crude humor is welcome. Hate is not.
4. Every custom order is reviewed. A person reviews custom orders before printing. We may refuse, cancel and refund any custom order at our sole discretion, without having to explain why. A refund is your only remedy if we decline an order.
5. What you see is roughly what you get. Screen previews are approximate. Colors on screen differ from ink on fabric, and low-resolution images print blurry. We print Your Art as submitted and do not fix, edit or improve it. Custom orders are final sale and cannot be canceled once approved for printing.
6. You're responsible for it. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Butts And Guts and our print and payment partners from any claims, damages, losses or costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from Your Art or your breach of these terms.
7. License to print. You grant us and our print partners a limited license to store, reproduce and print Your Art only to make and ship your order and to review it for these terms. We will not use Your Art for marketing without asking you first.
8. Storage. Uploaded images that are never ordered are deleted automatically after about 60 days. Images attached to an order are kept for our records.

Our stuff

The Butts and Guts name, logos, characters and designs belong to us. Buying a product doesn't give you the right to reproduce our designs.

Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version posted when you place an order applies to that order.
